Thomas D. Grant

Attorney-at-Law

Dr. Grant has collaborated for over twenty-five years with law firms, corporate clients, and governments in private practice, public policy, and academia and specializes in international law, international commercial and investment arbitration, and international trade aspects of intellectual property and technology.

He received his BA summa cum laude from Harvard, 1991; JD from the Yale Law School, 1994; and PhD from Cambridge, 2000, where he studied under Sir Christopher Greenwood GBE CMG KC and the late James Crawford AC SC FBA, with whom he worked as principal associate from 2002 to 2013.

He is a Senior Fellow of Wolfson College and the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law in the University of Cambridge and a Visiting Fellow of the National Security Institute at George Mason University in Arlington, Virginia. He divides his time between Cambridge, UK and Washington, DC.
